CLEVELAND, Ohio – If you’re an AT&T or DirecTV customer in Northeast Ohio, you’ll no longer have to look for an alternate way to watch the Cleveland Browns on “Sunday Night Football.”
AT&T and Tegna, which owns the local NBC affiliate WKYC, reached a “multi-year retransmission consent agreement” Sunday, meaning the channel is available again on AT&T U Verse, AT&T TV Now and DirecTV. The channel had been dark on AT&T-owned stations since the start of December due to a dispute over carriage fees.
“All Tegna stations are returning today to any impacted AT&T homes,” a news release from AT&T states. “AT&T and Tegna regret any inconvenience to their customers and viewers and thank them for their patience.”
If for some reason you’re still struggling to find the game tonight, there are a few ways customers can get around the blackout and watch the game.
The Browns will take on the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on NBC at 8:20 p.m.
